Applications for Residency
The key requirements for residency at the Homes are:
a) that applicants should be persons of good character who have attained the age of 60 years, and
b) that applicants are able to live independently.
In recognition of the original purposes for which the Charity was set up, priority is often given to those who reside within a twenty mile radius of Great St Mary's Church, Cambridge, or who are, or have been, members of a Friendly Society. This does not, however, exclude applicants who have no connection with Cambridge or Friendly Societies from applying.
Decisions about residency are made by the Trustees following an interview process and are based on the applicant's financial and/or social needs.
There are currently no vacancies.
If you are interested in becoming a resident please complete this CVH residency application form Dec 22.doc and return it to Cambridge Victoria Homes. You will then be placed on our 'Expressions of Interest' list for consideration when a vacancy becomes available.
